We sold our apartment, we go to rent
Removal under the snow !!
 
After 3 months of sorting donations, sales, numerous garbage cans, it only remains for us that ... .. 85 large and 29 small boxes to move, not to mention kites, dioramas and models of airships!

Monday, December 20, 7:30 am, the removals men must be coming soon and we're ready for the big day. But the weather decided otherwise. It snows more and more!

8:30, 20 cm (8 in) of snow. The two vans are at only 2km. (1.3 miles). but still struggling on the road ... It skids! Today the trucks are not allowed to ride.

9:00, 25 cm (10 in) of snow! The team Laurent, Pascal, Jérôme et Wilfrid arrives in. They do not take them long time to load vans despite the weather. The snow has stopped falling but it is very cold
 
     

In our new renting flat there is a beautiful beige moquette ... Patrick goes and scout around. He will put a large canvas cover on the floor in the dining room. We decided that all cartons will be placed on it and will not be distributed in flat: saving time for everyone and no risk of soiling the moquette.

Saves time ... er! Not, finally, because that we want is always in the box underneath. Fortunately we had anticipated a bag with some toiletries and clothing.

That's it. A page is turning. We left behind us 25 years of memories in the apartment we sold. But it's for a good cause ... Wokipi. The project has taken a serious leap forward.

A big thank you to all the team of removals men, the “Gentlemen déménageurs”, of Botric, good humor, songs, jokes and professionalism were at the appointment this Monday, Dec. 20, despite the insane weather!

I did promise Patrick not to move winter .... To be continued
