Retirement

"To respect your choice, retirement is not granted automatically, you must request it." and take all steps sometimes becomes the obstacle course!

Patrick was born in October 1951 ... He was among the first to "take advantage" (a french joke) of the pension reform and took 4 more months before they can apply. 4 months is nothing .... but for us it will change ALL!

We must make the request 4 months before the date of retirement you want. Today the process and accompanying documents are clearly identified. But there will be new provision in June 2011, with (perhaps) new documents, forms or other procedures.

Our cruise to South America has just been confirmed: departure to Buenos Aires on the ferry Republica Argentina the May 25, 2011 . We must make a decision quickly ... before December 7, 2010 ... we are the 4th!

We can not take the risk of entrusting the retirement file to a friend and he will send it in October 2011, without knowing whether the today documents will still be good.

2 nights of thought ... We can not do without the retirement of Patrick, so small it is, it will be our only source of income from 2012.

Decision is made!
We will go in South America later! Our first destination will be Central Asia until October-November 2011.
Then back to France for "retirement registration". We will take the opportunity to do a health check. We will reschedule departure for Argentina with Grimaldi (february 2012), and meanwhile the boat, we can even make a trip the next few months Mauritania (november 2011 - january 2012)
