Among the recent internationnales conferences, there is one organized in France in 2005 by the Cerf-Volant Club de France (KAPI France/05 - 26 Kapers, 11 from 5 European countries and USA, 15 from France) and in 2006, in California by Brooks Leffler and Peter Bults (KAPICA/06)

This year's meeting of aerial kite photography is organized by Peter Bults and Hans de Jong in the Netherlands, from Sunday 2 to Thursday, May 6, 2010. We were hosted at the hostel "Stayokay Hostel" located at the periphery of Dordrecht in the nature area "De Hollandsche Biesbosch. Dordrecht is located near Rotterdam and about 100 km from Amsterdam.

For us, this is our first participation in these meetings and we are very pleased to participate in KAPINED/10. Kapined/10 website
We arrive on Sunday with a cold weather and rain. But weather forecasts include an improvement for the middle of the week! Good for us because we have an afternoon and a whole day with a lunchpack for flying kites and aerial photography.

Indeed, KAPiNED/10 has taken inspiration from the successful KAPiCA/06 event and has a similar organization, including two days and the evenings for presentations, discussions and building equipment that is needed. We have dinner from 18:00 to 19:30 and then resume the conferences until 22h, but often finish much later, thanks to free time for "socializing"

The conference room is equipped in half-circle with two screens for rear projection. Breaks are taken either in a Salong on the terrace outside.

For presentations, rather than putting them in chronological order, we will present them by subject. The objective is not to remake the entire conference, but give you a overall approach to topics and make you want to participate in the next KAPI. We also hope that this report reminded good memories of the 50 participants (14 countries).

During all the conferences we're on Skype video with Brooks Leffler.
